We're in Guangzhou

We don't have any pictures of us in Guangzhou yet because we are just getting settled into our room and it's late. The White Swan Hotel is very nice. We will go to Cate's medical exam in the morning and then look around the island. On Sunday, we will go over all of our paperwork for Cate's visa and Monday is the Consulate appointment. Tuesday will be a free day, and I would give anything to come home a day early! I am so homesick, and am trying really hard to enjoy our time here, but the truth, is, I just want to be home with my husband and boys. Cate continues to amaze us with how well she has adjusted. She knows we are her family. While we can't understand anything she says, and she jabbers all of the time, we usually know what she wants and needs. She is a very fast learner. She is very strong willed, very independent, and very adorable. I can't wait to get her home. Here are a few pictures from this morning.

Hey Kim,
We had a great day at school on Friday. Pressley couldn't wait to go home with Bates. They both told me that they were going home together. They are both sweet boys. I'm glad they have hit it off so well. We had a pep rally at the end of the day but it was kind of short. We have been counting down the days until you get home. Greg was at school on Friday picking up the kids. It was raining so I guess he was able to get away from the farm. It was cute watching him figure out who all he needed to take home. Rion played in the football game on Wednesday. He did a great job. Kelly and I cheered him on for you. They had a big win. I think it was 24 to 12. The boys were so excited. I know you are ready to get home. Get Cate a cheerleader uniform for the game on Thursday if you are able to get some sleep and come to the game. We play O.P. and it should be a good game. I can't wait to meet your precious baby girl. We have all the pictures posted on the classroom door. We have looked at the globe to see where you are. The kids are amazed that you are on the other side of the world. Me Too!!!! Have a safe journey back home!!
Much Love,
Kristin
