My, How Time Flys!

It's hard to believe that Cate has been home for 3 months. And then again, it feels as though she has been with us much longer. Her adjustment has been amazing. She embraced her first Christmas here just as she does everything else- full steam ahead. Not very much intimidates her- she just goes with the flow. This time last year we had no idea what 2008 had in store for us, or should I say we had no idea what God had in store for us in 2008! We feel very blessed that He allowed us to become Cate's family.

Yay!!!!!! I love seeing those rosy cheeks and happy smiles! What a year you've had! Sometimes time flying by is a good thing, and sometimes not, huh? The best part is that Cate's transition has been so good and that she is a content child! God is good.
Thank you for updating your blog! =) Looks like your children had a wonderful Christmas!!

Kim, Cate is just sooooo cute!!! She looks like she is just thriving. Lucy has that same Christmas tree shirt!!
I ordered the kitchen from Walmart.com and picked it up at the store (saves on shipping), it is made by Kidkraft and I have seen it online at lots of stores, just Google it. I would reccomend Walmart if you can because it weighs about 80 lbs so you dont have to ship it, and FYI it took my husband and one of our boys 3 hours to build...not hard just lots of pieces, but well worth it , very sturdy and LOTS of storage!!

Happy New Year, and THANK YOU for giving a Cate update!!

So happy to see Cate just blooming! And regarding your Tag post about being shy-really? You didn't seem so in the few seconds I met you.
I hope to meet Cate one day...

Blessings,

Cate is just adorable...as are all of your kids.

The time does fly by doesn't it? I can't believe we have had Brinley with us for three years now.

Oh you are going to love it!! It has a ton of storage! Another idea, is Lucy has the toaster, coffee pot, blender and mixer. You can order them from amazon and they are made by Kidkraft too, so everything matches...they are so cute and so well made. I am going to order Lucy the tea kettle for Valentine's Day...check them out...soo cute. Email me at Parsonsx6@comcast.net, that way I have your email address and we can keep in touch easier!

I love this post. You put into words exactly how I feel. We are in the same situation, a year ago we had no idea what Heavenly Father had planned for our family, and now we are in the process of adoption. Thanks for sharing your story!
